The Fujifilm GFX 100 II is a medium format mirrorless camera with a 102MP BSI CMOS sensor (43.8 x 32.9 mm) and X-Processor 5, delivering high dynamic range and excellent image quality with low noise even at high ISO. The Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode captures 20 images with sensor shift and combines them into a single 400-megapixel image. Sensor stabilization compensates up to 8 stops for handheld shooting.
Improved focusing and tracking
Enhanced autofocus algorithms and updated tracking ensure fast and precise results. AI-based subject detection and tracking works not only with human faces and eyes, but also with birds, animals, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trains, and airplanes. The bird and airplane modes on the GFX 100 II can also be used for tracking insects and drones.
Up to 8K 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW video
The Fujifilm GFX 100 II offers impressive video capabilities. The camera records internally 8K30p, 4K60p, and FHD120p 4:2:2 10-bit video and offers RAW recording via HDMI with compatible Atomos devices, as well as recording to an external SSD via USB. It is the first model in the GFX series to offer F-Log2 with more than 14 stops of dynamic range for maximum flexibility in post-production. The camera integrates with Frame.io Camera to Cloud for direct upload of photos and videos to the cloud without additional accessories.
The model shoots 4K video continuously for up to 60 minutes. An optional fan accessory is available to prevent overheating. The Fujifilm GFX 100 II offers videographers a choice of various cinematic formats (GF, Premista, Anamorphic 35mm, etc.) and many useful functions such as manual focus assist, waveform, vectorscope, pixel mapping, zebra, Atomos AirGlu BT Wireless Timecode, and more.
Updated body
Unlike its predecessor, there is no built-in vertical grip. For those who need it, the newly developed optional grip Fujifilm VG-GFX100II is available. Instead, the GFX 100 II is equipped with a new electronic viewfinder with 9.44 million dots and distortion correction with eye movement, an improved top panel with a tilting display for greater convenience, a CFexpress B memory card slot, a full-size HDMI port, and other improvements.
